Pine Island, Fla. – Fire Rescue units located the body of a missing man, Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at approximately 9:00 AM.

Matlacha Bridge Opening?

Lee County DOT says that the Matlacha bridge opening will be delayed a couple of months more. They say that there is a problem with the bearings and gears in the lifting mechanism.
